.....in Custer National Park. We savored the fresh foresty smell as we enjoyed this very serene ride. We went through tunnels that were so narrow, pickup trucks would not have made it through.
One of the days we were in South Dakota, we jumped on the Harley and visited the Badlands National Park. It was 107 degrees that day and the arid park made it feel more like 120. Click on the picture on the upper right and you can see the line of motorcycles.
Our family visited Portland for a week in July. We had fun here at home on the deck where we were joined by Ma, we hiked and picniced at Bridal Veil Falls in the Gorge, we cooled off in West Linn's fountains and we rented a home on the beach in Pacific City for a few days.
........at Pacific City. The big sand dune created a challenge for all of us. It was quite a trek, but definitely a sense of accomplishment when you reached the top.
