Plate & screws

Here is a great x-ray depicting my brand new plate & screws that now hold my wrist together!

Wrist

I broke my wrist (had a bike accident) on Labor Day; had a temporary cast for 10 days, then surgery to implant a plate and screws. 13 days later, they removed the plaster cast, removed the stitches, and recast it for 3 more weeks. Notice the nasty wrinkly skin! eew!
