You two are such romantics! We spent Valentine's Day (also Emily's birthday) being the 3rd (and 4th) wheels having a romantic dinner with Emily and her new squeeze, Mike.
Emily lives in La Mesa, not far from where you were in Mission Beach. It was a bummer knowing you were in town and being torn about being selfish with out short period of time with Emily. She has been in her "new" house for 4 years and that was the first time we saw it.
Weren't we all lucky with the weather? Emily was thrilled with the sight of green hillsides (thanks to all the rain) in the sun.
I'll be checking out your blog as you travel along. We're thinking of you and know you are having a ball. You wouldn't have it any other way, right?
